Construction: The heavy duty frame is made
from thick gauged welded
profile sections. The whole frame is hot dipped galvanized
after
welding. The steel corner posts and the supporting sections
contain the
solid wood boards.
Dimensions: The total depth of the box
is 6.0m ( approx. 20´) The roof
overlap is 2,50m (8´-2”) The rest is the interior
area for the horse.
The roof overlap provides an area for preparing and grooming
the horse.
The box is 3,20m (or 10´-6”) wide
Roof: The roof gable end of the unit is
insulated using polycarbonate
elements which let in plenty of light. The roof is covered
in sky grey
cement sheet elements (no rain drumming)
Front:The front of the box has a solid
equiline paddock door with
glass/grille top and hard wood bottom, the especially wide
door 1,40m or
4´-7” provides lots of air you can also drive
through with a “bob cat”
Rear: The rear side has a steel galvanized 1,0m x 1,0m window
The design is intended as a Do It Yourself unit and can
be extended at a
later date.
If required the are in front of the box can be enclosed
with wood, wind
nets windows doors etc providing an enclosed aisle way.
